The Short Answer
The easiest place in the US to book a real two-bedroom suite is Orlando. The resort areas around Disney World and along International Drive are full of vacation-club resorts that rent two-bedroom villas with kitchens and laundry to anyone. Our overall pick is Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas, whose two-bedroom villas sleep up to eight and which advertises no resort fees.
Elsewhere, the same pattern holds: vacation-club towers in Las Vegas, Waikiki, the Smokies and Branson, oceanfront condo resorts in Myrtle Beach, and a handful of all-suite and beach hotels in Anaheim and Miami.
Every hotel on this site has a two-bedroom suite, villa or condo listed on its own website. We don't count connecting rooms or one-bedroom suites with a sofa bed.

What Counts as a Two-Bedroom Suite
A true two-bedroom suite has two separate bedrooms, each with a door, plus a living area. That's the only kind we list. Three things are often sold as "family" or "two-room" options but are not the same:
- A one-bedroom suite with a sofa bed. One bedroom with a door, and a pull-out in the living room. Someone sleeps in the room everyone walks through.
- Connecting rooms. Two hotel rooms with a door between them. You get two bathrooms but no living room or kitchen, and at many hotels connecting rooms are a request, not a guarantee.
- A "two-room" or kids' suite. Sometimes a real second bedroom, sometimes a bunk nook without a door. Residence Inn Anaheim's Themed Kids Suite, for example, has a separate bunk room; check the floor plan.
What to Check Before You Book
- Bathrooms. Many two-bedroom units have two bathrooms, but not all. Universal's Endless Summer suites and Desert Palms' Deluxe two-bedroom have one.
- Kitchen or kitchenette. A full kitchen has a stove and full-size fridge; a kitchenette may have only a microwave and small fridge. Vacation-club villas usually have full kitchens; hotel suites often have kitchenettes.
- Occupancy. Two-bedroom units usually sleep six to eight, but some sleep four, such as 1 Hotel South Beach's oceanfront suite and Westgate Palace in Orlando. Count every child.
- The right room type on Booking.com. Many resorts sell studios and one-bedroom units alongside two-bedroom ones. Pick the room whose name says "two-bedroom" (or "2 Bedroom"), and read the bed list before you pay. Watch for "lockoff" units, which can be rented as two separate halves.
- Owner rules at timeshare resorts. Club Wyndham resorts require a minimum number of nights, and most require the person checking in to be at least 21.
Resort Fees, Parking and the Total Price
Many resorts with two-bedroom units charge a resort, amenity or facility fee, and many charge for parking. Since May 12, 2025, a Federal Trade Commission rule has required hotels and booking sites in the US to show a total price that includes mandatory fees, such as resort fees. Taxes can be left out of that headline price but must be disclosed, and charges for optional extras must be disclosed before you pay.
So compare the total, not the nightly rate, and check parking separately if you're driving. Some resorts advertise no resort fees at all, including Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas, Marriott's Grand Chateau and Hotel Beacon in New York. Our brand guide explains what to expect from each chain.
